YIN YANG #1
  • YIN YANG #1

In 19th Century China farmers started cultivating koi fish in the shallow waters of their innundated rice pads. The Japanese then cross-bred koi fish to obtain nishikigoi or "living jewels" represented later in the yin yang symbol.

Our hand-carved Yin Yang pieces draw inspiration from the harmonic flow of energy that builds up when two people come together. Made from reclaimed Bolivian Rosewood, hand- carved and hand-polished to a satin finish with PU coating.  Table-top decorative piece, not for use with food or liquids, 8x2 in.
